WhatsApp

As some of you may know, I love my iPhone. Like I really really love it, so much that I affectionately call him, my boyfriend. What does a good boyfriend do?
  • makes me laugh: YouTube
  • he keeps me close to my family: Skype, AIM, Phone,Mail ✔
  • makes me feel good: Messages ✔ (especially those text with photos)
  • he's reliable: 3G network ✔
  • he always keeps me entertained: TweetDeck, Safari, Scrabble, iPod,Sudoku ✔
  • and he knows EVERYTHING: Google, Maps, Weather ✔
What more could a girl ask for, right? Well a few months ago I spent $0.99 on "WhatsApp", the best iPhone app for a girl living more than 5,700 miles away from home. Its kind of like my already hot, considerate, smart, funny boyfriend went out and learned how to cook all my favorite foods, ha! Since spending my hard earned dollar, I've been trading videos with my brother Anthony and I have to say it's a pretty funny way to look back at my life over the last few months. It tells a really great story:

I spent an entire day (literally 20+ hours) at the Serbian/Hungarian border, because of these cartons cigarettes

that same night our bus broke down and we had to get out and push it. It was hard for me to push with my boyfriend in my hand, so I made a video instead

One day in Istres, I saw this typical French man in the grocery store parking lot with at least 30 baguettes of bread

On a weekend off, I toured a really old castle in Carcassonne, France with my two favorite Czech people, Hana and Veronika

On a regular Tuesday in February, I survived a "ladies night" with my teammies

I was bored so, I vandalized a French/Swiss map

On the drive back from Miramas, I experienced some French hospitality, aka stopping in the middle of a two lane road to have a conversation with a truck on the other side, no big

I read a great quote that affected my perspective

In Sete, I was taught how to properly drink Czech Rum and explaining this WhatsApp to Cuba

The next late afternoon, I learned how to properly recover the day after drinking Czech Rum, while laughing a little bit at Hana

my life really is amazing

and then, I was given this to deal with

but that didn't prevent great days like this

and gorgeous sunsets in Cannes, over the Mediterranean Sea

so I continued to be thankful and brag a little bit

and as the season winded down, there were many nights with us girls acting like this

after our last match in Le Cannet

then the goodbyes started...

Soni and I took a spontaneous road trip to one of my favorite places, to see one of my favorite people

and in Schaffhausen we got to see some history being made, congrats DG!

I sat in the second row as we watched Fos win their last home game...

And then it was today...one more week in Istres and then my WhatsApp pics and videos will be Swiss for a week and then my stories turn AMERICAN!!!
