I am a reality tv junkie, i know...i know...who has the time? Well, whenever I'm not smacking volleyballs, I'm trying to contact my family, eating, sleeping, or watching tv (or in my life abroad, watching it the day after on the internet). And thanks to Andy Cohen and the good folks over at Bravo, The Real Housewives series have brought us into the life of tons of different American women. Of them, my all time favorite has been Bethenny Frankel (from the RHW of NY, Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After), who we got to see go from the single city girl to happily married millionaire with baby, crazy what a few years can do. I loved watching her fall in love with Jason, getting married and bringing little Bryn into our living rooms.
I don't just love Bethenny because of her dramatic life, but she's also a health foodie, aka a health food chef and I do love food, health food too. On her website she shares tons healthy, vegetarian, and vegan recipes and all sorts of other good stuff about health and fitness. I came upon her blog entry about how she approached Bryn's (who's a little older than 1) vegetarian diet and I think it's pretty genius. I've thought a ton about if and how my own diet would change when baby time comes (don't worry, no time soon) and how I would approach the diet of my own child. So it's pretty cool to hear it from a pro:

here's my mom and I with the SkinnyGirl herself in the summer of 2010 in Vegas. She said to me "wow, you're so tall, are you a model?" love her!
